I’m not really much of a “shoe” girl. Oh sure, I can admire a pretty shoe . . . from afar. But I am not one for sacrificing style for comfort . . . at least not when it comes to footwear. I just can’t look cute when my feet hurt.
I think part of all this stems from the fact that I wear a size 11WW shoe. I have a hard enough time finding shoes that FIT, let alone shoes that are comfortable. Once I meet those two criteria, as long as it’s not fugly, I am good to go. (I had high hopes when I learned about Taryn Rose – the stylish shoe line designed by an orthopedic surgeon – but, alas, her shoes don’t come in my size . . . even if they did, they are pretty pricey!)
However, now that I’m a fashion blogger, I’m thinking more and more about my shoe wardrobe and stepping up my game quite a bit. Tomorrow we’ll talk more about that. In the meantime, what is YOUR take on shoes? Are you a slave to style? Or do you prize comfort over all else? Have you found a shoe line that embrace both?
