I don’t know if this is officially a “trend” but I am seeing a lot of knot details on dresses these days . . . and I’m absolutely loving it!

To me, it seems like the evolution of the empire waisted dresses and tops from a few years back. It still creates the effect of an empire waist – camoflauging a tummy and drawing attention to the what is generally the smallest area on a woman’s body. But it also helps create a shape for the less shapely and accentuates the curves of those of us who are more hourglass (or, ahem, pear) shape.
I have at least THREE knot-accented dresses in my wardrobe for the season. What do you think? Will you be adopting this trend?
