Anyone who knows me knows that I stan all day, err’yday for Miss Jill Scott. Well, when I got a peek at the October 2012 issue of Essence magazine, I ’bout near fell out.

Of course, I immediately thought about how I could create a similar look of my own. Too impatient to wait for my subscription issue to arrive (with all of the shopping details), I scoured the ‘net for reasonably priced pieces inspired by her cover look. What do you think?

LOVE the cover shot with Jill Scott and the full-length shot inside the magazine is even BETTER!!! Love her new look, her beautiful smile and the suit and accessories are FIYAH!!! Will definitely be adding this kind of outfit to MY closet and putting my own twist on it. Instead of the rich tobacco brown, I’m looking to a burgundy, cobalt blue, or jet black as my choice. LOVE IT!
