I have a confession to make. I am *hooked* on ABC’s “Scandal.” Yes. Even though it reeks of Sally Hemings and Thomas Jefferson. (Yep. I’m one of those. I’m sorry, but am I supposed to be hyped that this black woman, whose job is to “fix” everyone else’s problems, can’t do any better for herself than be the President’s side piece? Thank goodness they threw Senator Davis into the mix.) Although I take issue with some of the storyline, overall the plot twists make this show absolutely addictive!

In watching the show, you also can’t help but recognize the absolute flyness of the leading lady’s wardrobe! Draped in soft hues of beige, blush, and gray, Olivia Pope zips across the nation’s capital in some of the fiercest coats and pant suits you could ever wear! Then there are the subtle accents – the delicate necklaces, the simple yet sleek heels, and, of course, a fabulous handbag.

Recently, I took a stab at coming up with a few items that a plus-size diva might rock to show her own Olivia Pope style!
